Last night me and my friends celebrated Virginia's 21st birthday! It made me start thinking about my 21st birthday and all of my other friends 21st. Above are pictures of my 21st birthday and some of my friends birthday signs. For everyones 21st birthdays we make a banner and hang it in front of our sorority house, put together a basket full of gifts and of course we make them a sign. We try to make everyones 21st birthdays really special and meaningful. My sign was a Tiffany and Co box, and my banner was a Starbucks cup these are two of my favorite things!

Preparing for Graduation
I graduate from the University of Central Florida on May 8th with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in History. So much is changing now that I am graduating, and I will no longer be an active sister of Kappa Delta Sorority. One night we had our senior send off dinner where we officially become alums of the chapter. At the dinner we are showered with gifts and cards. It is a really special night for the seniors.
Super, super, super cheesy, but I asked (made) Cody take senior pictures with me by the Reflection Pond at UCF. We have been together since High School, but only have one picture together from our High School graduation so this little photo session made up for it! He is graduating with a degree in Preclinical Health Sciences!
Kappa Delta senior pictures at the Reflection Pond and at the KD house.
Everything is becoming so real!! We took our senior pictures and we are off to graduation from here! Everyone always tells you that college flies by and that is no lie....
*~April Recap~*
Kappa Delta had a country themed grab-a-date to The Barn which is a country bar!
This was one of the most exciting things I have even been apart of!! One of my girlfriends, Emily, got engaged in April! The girls above and I threw her a surprise party hours after she got engaged! Emily was absolutely glowing the whole day. She was so sweet too... she called each and every single one of us to tell us that she was engaged it was so cute and considerate! (We had known for a couple of days and had to keep it a secret from her!)
MEET LOKI!!
Cody and I made a huge decision and got a 10 week old Morkie! We named him Loki from the Thor movies, (yes we are complete nerds) it just fit him. He is absolutely perfect and we are completely in love with him! The Vet says that he will be 5-7 pounds so he will be a little guy. I know I am totally bias, but I think he is the best pup ever!
Kappa Delta had our formal at the Ice Bar this year. On formal we bring dates and get a little bit more dressed up, I always joke that it is prom 2.0. I really did not know what to expect at Ice Bar because I have never been before, but basically they have one room that is completely ice and you have to wear gloves and jackets while you are inside! Well, as expected I was freezing inside.
*~Cruising~*
I went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise in March too! WOW it was a much needed break from the real world! My friend Morgan and I decided to book this cruise for the two of us because we had a different spring break then all of our friends at UCF. (Since we were in our full time internships.) It turned out to be perfect because we were on the same page about everything with one goal: get as tan as we could in five days! It was a four night, five day cruise and I personally think that it was the perfect amount of time! We went to a private Island one of the days, (which was the BEST part of the whole trip) to Nassau for a day and finally ended with a boat day. It was a blast and I can't wait to go again!

~*March Recap*~
My sorority had a "squad goals" themed social so me and two of my best friends went as the three blind mice and it was actually really funny. We couldn't really see with our sunglasses on at the venue which made it very realistic.
For my Dads birthday my family and I stayed at the Grand Floridian. It was beautiful and amazing and so convenient that it is a disney resort and we were going to disney one of the days. Lately, my family has been super into going to disney again.
My sorority held its annual Shamrock Event. This year we went with something different and had a live concert at the house! Country music new guy John King came and played for us and several other sorority and fraternity member for a private concert. Normally we host a 5K, but I love country music so having John King there was awesome. All proceeds from this event when to the Children's Holmes Society.

~*February Recap*~
In February I was able to balance life a lot better! I was still mostly a grandma staying in most nights, but I wanted to do a couple of fun activities with my boyfriend and besties!
First of all, February brought my blonde balayage back! Lately, I have not been able to keep my hair the same color for more than a couple of months! I get SO bored with it! **Anyways** Cody and I decided to explore a Farmers Market in downtown Orlando. I insisted we try coconut water because I saw so many people walking around with these huge coconut.... oops that was a mistake! Coconut water is not for everyone and definitely not for me!
My sorority had its first spring grab-a-date function at a roller derby skateway and the theme was clearly 70s/80s. The whole week before I was so pumped because I am actually really good at roller blading, I didn't realize until the day before that it was be skates. Surprisingly, I was killing it out on the rink with Cody... just kidding I fell twice. (Cody is annoyingly great at everything so I knew he wouldn't have any trouble.)
The next week my sorority had a social with a fraternity at a local bar. The theme was high school stereotypes, this was such a just theme especially for me and my friend, Laura, because we both lost homecoming queen in high school and alway jokes at each other over it! We thought it would be hilarious to go as homecoming queens. I love going to socials even though I have a boyfriend (who is not in a fraternity) because it gives me a chance to hang out with all my girlfriends!
